Campaign Finance Information Under The Microscope
Ever wondered where the rich and famous send their political contributions? Can general analogies be postulated from the developments?
One could make a general statement that celebrities tend to contribute to the liberal side. This seems to be a given. There are exceptions.
You can acknowledge yourself as the privileged class when you reach the billionaire status. It seems that the status quo tends to give on both sides, with special interests in mind as well.
Sometimes the media is construed as leaning to the left, but these days journalists may be more difficult to track.
Business executives are even more difficult to follow. Their contributions are to the left and to the right, with a great deal of emphasis on special interest categories.
Political players and pundits seem to be much more pronounced as to where their bucks fall.
Sports stars contributions seem like a mixed bag of treats.
