Electric car charging stations and their locations will be very important in the near future. This may be sooner than we imagined. America’s dependency on oil has created many problems and it is clear that change is necessary. The consumption of oil has grown in the U.S. and abroad. This has threatened the economy and the security of America.
While progress has been slow, places like California have already installed stations to accommodate the needs of drivers with vehicles using alternative energy.
Does this seem too futuristic? The site Gas2.org is an indication of what has already been done in Germany.
The U.S. auto industry is hurting. What kind of an impact will the electric car have on the industry? Will the way that automobiles are made and sold be redefined altogether?
It is obvious that the times demand new technology and the way America uses transportation. It is critical that America breaks free from oil dependency, and vehicles using alternative sources of energy need to be promoted.
Electric and hybrid cars will present a whole new set of challenges. Some of these obstacles need to be addressed.
