The Drapes Look Blue
There are 538 electoral votes, and each presidential candidate needs at least 270 electoral votes to win. After November 4, 2008, the election results will reveal the accuracy of the polls.
Should Barack Obama be measuring the drapes? Here is a liberal sample before the 2008 Presidential Election proceeds. Subsequently, the results of the presidential election will be displayed. Just how accurate are the polls?

FINAL PROJECTION – By FiveThirtyEight
Electoral Votes:
Obama – 348.6 McCain – 189.6
Popular Votes:
Obama – 52.3% McCain – 46.2%
Analysis: Obviously John McCain did much better than expected, especially referring to the electoral votes. ElectionProjection.com nailed the popular vote. Nice job. In retrospect, the polls were fairly accurate when representing election data. However, even with a margin of error, there can be surprises.

2Любопытная статья, да и сам сайт я смотрю очень даже не плох. Попал сюда по поиску из Яндекса, занес в закладки 🙂
