Are you away from your PC at the moment and expecting a very important message from someone? Did you know that you can receive a sound notification on Facebook everytime someone sends you a message? You can hear a ping when you receive Facebook messages.

How To Set It Up

1. ▾ (rightside of menu bar)

2. Settings

3. Notifications

4. Click “On Facebook”

5. Toggle “Play a sound when a message is received” to On

6. Make sure your volume is up

Now everytime you receive a message on Facebook, you’ll hear a ping. This is practical when you’re away from your machine. Have fun!
