Broadband Usage:
Got broadband? A Pew survey found that 57% to 60% urban/suburban dwellers have broadband. Compare that to 38% of rural dwellers with broadband.

Change:
Men and those 65 and older showed greater gains than the national average. College grads and $75,000 usage was slightly less than a year ago, using internet more than an hour a day. Men usage was more, while women remained about the same.

Internet News And Science News Gaining:
Internet news has increased more than 100% since 2002, and 87% use the internet for science topics. Cable news is also growing in popularity, while nightly network news is slightly on the decline.

Local newspapers are on the decline, while national newspapers are gaining in popularity.

Weekly magazines are down, while Sundays news on television is increasing.
