Dirty Little Secrets Behind Health Care Reform

What’s on page 425 of Obama’s health care bill? The HR 3200 bill to be specific. How is Obama going to pay for the new plan?

Betsy McCaughey, an Adjunct Fellow at Hudson Institute explains:

“The bill would be paid for, half paid for, with a $500 billion cut in health care benefits and services for senior citizens. Senior citizens are bearing half the brunt of this bill themselves.”

Only 1% of fraud would be eleminated by passing this legislation, which means that the cuts would be in patient care.

McCaughey goes further:

“On page 425, Congress would make it mandatory that every 5 years people in Medicare will have a required counseling session that will tell them how to end their life sooner. How to decline nutrition, how to decline being hydrated, how to go into Hospice care. If you get sick, you have to go to the session again.”

According to McCaughey, people who have incurable or irreversible illnesses would not be given basic health services. For example, denying health care for patients with dementia, or alzheimer’s.

Lastly, she says pages 16 and 17 make clear that you cannot keep the health insurance you have, even if you like it.
