Kiss my face. No, I didn’t mean to get so intimate. I’m talking about toothpaste — Organic Triple Action Toothpaste 3.40 Ounces. The kind of toothpaste that is organic and doesn’t have all of the toxic chemicals. Have you looked at the ingredients on the toothpaste label lately?
I was looking for fluoride-free toothpaste, but even this type has other toxic chemicals. Here are a few of the provided names: propylene glycol, glycerin, saccharin, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc. Are all of these synthetics necessary to make my teeth clean? What are they made of and are they really safe?
I know what you’re going to say. We’ve been using the same toothpaste for years and we’re okay. Well, that’s a valid point, maybe. However, if we now have knowledge that some of these chemicals are toxic, then why do companies keep putting these harsh ingredients in toothpaste? Why?
I think it’s time to reevaluate what personal products we use. A recent study has proven that fluoride lowers the IQ in children and is harmful. Even the federal government has admitted this. Yet, fluoride is still in our drinking water and in our toothpaste. By the way, they do not permit the use of fluoride in western Europe. I wonder why?
I made a conscious decision to try organic toothpaste. I believe the company — Kiss My Face — makes other products with natural ingredients.
Are natural products the new standard? I hope so. Have a nice, natural day.
