Reminder: Your phone can do a lot of things, but it doesn’t know how to swim. It needs a life jacket.
Our smartphones endure a lot during the day. We take them out in the pouring rain. They’re close by our side while we’re sipping on our morning coffee. Liquid is always nearby, and a big enough spill will wipe your phone out. If a bag of rice doesn’t save it, your warranty or AppleCare Protection Plan won’t either.
Some smartphone manufacturers have already designed their phones to be waterproof, but Apple hasn’t given us the luxury yet.
