Susan Boyle An Instant Success!

If you haven’t heard of the name Susan Boyle, the odds are you will get acquainted very soon. She is a singer, with extraordinary talent. Her vocals are flawless. Here’s the video link  …  Judge for yourself.

It was later discovered that Susan sang for a charity in 1999. The song “Cry Me A River” was on a CD that sold only 1000 copies.

American Idol has something in common with a British show — called Britain’s Got Talent. Simon Cowell serves as a judge on both talent shows. American audiences are accustomed to seeing Simon heavily criticizing the singers.

Simon and the other two judges didn’t know it but they were in for a real shock.

Susan is first seen nonchalantly eating a sandwich.

Then she replies with her Scottish accent:

“My name is Susan Boyle. I am nearly forty-eight. I’m currently unemployed but still looking. I’m going to sing for you on Britain’s Got Talent today. (Susan mentions her cat named Pebbles.) I’ve never been married. I’ve never been kissed. Ashame. I’ve always wanted to perform in front of a large audience. I’m going to make that audience rock.”

Simon started the questioning. He asked her name and where she was from. Simon targeted Susan with several rounds of questions. While at age 47, Susan replied that she had just never been given the chance to succeed.

There were sneers, smirks, and eyebrows raised as Susan answered the questions. Eyeballs were rolling and heads were shaking with doubt in the crowd.  It was quite evident that the crowd assumed Susan would fall flat on her face with the song. After all, she is average looking with a common type personality. There was nothing impressive about her carriage.

Then Susan began to sing — I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables. All three judges were mesmerized and the crowd immediately began to applaud loudly.

The simple aura of her personality all of a sudden transformed into an angelic phenomenon. Her singing is nothing less than absolute excellence. The whole audience gave her a standing ovation!

YouTube and Twitter were flooded with hits. The overwhelming response was nothing short of a miracle. Susan Boyle, you are a star. It looks like she will not be unemployed any longer. What an inspiration to everyone of us! Bravo!
