The climate in Florida is quite different than climates in the north. Summer in Orlando,Florida is extremely hot and humid. Also, with that heat is heavy rain, which is prevalent in summer and early fall.

Remember also, hurricane season is June 1 – November 30. Keep this in mind. Generally speaking, hurricanes are more apt to hit in August and September. September 10 is considered the peak.

Later in autumn, the weather is ideal. Probably in November and December is best. October can be pleasant. But wintertime is not bad either. Remember, heat is the issue in Florida. And that is not to say that it doesn’t get cold in the winter, because it certainly does.
