NEW YORK — A kidnapping victim was found in the garage of NYPD Detective Ondre Johnson, in the Queens neighborhood.

The 25-year old victim was grabbed by a group of men and taken to the garage on Friday. The man was later found unharmed. It is not known whether the detective was involved in the kidnapping.

According to the NY Daily News, the man was being held for a $75,000 ransom.

The detective has been suspended without pay.

Although Detective Ondre Johnson reportedly claimed he knew nothing of the crime, one of the four men involved in the crime was his cousin. Of the four men arrested for kidnapping the victim, two of them were living in the detective’s home, of which included his cousin.
