There are groups out there that want to save this, expose that, and rescue the human race out of destruction. It is often the most simple things that are overlooked and that are the most important. Take EMF for example. How many people are aware of the dangers of EMF? How can we protect the family from EMF hazards?
What is EMF? An electromagnetic field can be observed as the combination of an electric field and a magnetic field. EMF’s include the very low frequency of power lines, substations, transformers, residential electrical wiring, and household appliances. Electrical fields surround us in our daily lives and we rarely give any thought about the long-term implications.
How can we gauge the electrical fields and the radiation in our own houses?
The Trifield 100XE EMF Meter is a Tri-Axis EMF meter (measuring from EMF from 3 directions simultaneously) and is the only EMF meter which offers magnetic, electric, and radio/microwave detection in one package. This gadget is one example of Gauss meters.
This type of meter is necessary to measure the electromagnetic field in the house. Believe it or not, electric emissions can come from ordinary household gadgets that you wouldn’t dream of, and in more quantities than you might imagine.
For instance, the electric radio clock can produce a high magnetic field, which is almost as high as a microwave oven. Many of us sleep every night with our heads right beside our clock. The danger of this is unknown to most people that use the electric radio clock. Some suggest that the electric clock should be at least 6 feet from us.
Another gadget that emits higher EMF’s than you think is the cordless telephone, as well as the answering machine. Maybe the old cord phones are safer after all.
The more we know about EMF, the better off we will be when protecting our family from it. Suggested reads are Mercola.com (Electro Magnetic Field (EMF) – Hazardous to Our Health?), and Currents of Death, written by Paul Brodeur. Let’s not be afraid to at least educate ourselves about EMF.
