Viacom is demanding 30% more for the same channels, which equals to $1 billion. DirecTV is in direct negotiation with Viacom. A blackout has begun, so you will not be able to view MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, etc. The dispute will affect 26 channels and this includes many popular shows.
